Before opening his agency in 2018, Dawie acted as an account manager on various brands in South Africa. He has developed experience in various business sectors and now Amplified has a 100% focus on helping Consumer Brands get all the resources they need to grow and scale. By bringing in Creative and Sales experts into Amplified, Dawie is successfully closing the gap between result-driven creative work and client expectations.
With a wife, 2 children, and a golden retriever, Dawie stays busy at home as well. He also enjoys playing worship music, serving at church, watching sports, and engaging in good conversations.
With more than 8 years of experience in the retail industry, Joshua Kibet has established himself as a visionary leader in supply chain management and business process optimisation. Throughout his career, he has worked with prominent companies such as Carrefour and Kyosk Digital, where he played a crucial role in revolutionising their supply chains and enhancing operational efficiency. Joshua’s innovative strategies have consistently delivered measurable improvements, driving growth and profitability for these organisations. His deep understanding of the retail landscape, combined with his ability to implement transformative solutions, underscores his commitment to excellence and his significant contributions to the success of these industry leaders.
Born and raised in Johannesburg, Theuns started his career in logistics, before he joined Media24 in 2002. With a long track record in media advertising sales, and managing national sales teams, Theuns was offered an opportunity to move to Cape Town in 2011. He started his new journey as a Publisher on the majority of Media24’s titles. He was also the publisher of Huisgenoot Skouspel from 2012 to 2015, where he learned more about show business and the music industry, from managing sponsors’ and musicians’ expectations to managing the project as a whole.
During his last 10 years at Media24 (2012 to 2022), he was the publisher of the agricultural titles of Media24, including Landbouweekblad, SA Jagter/Hunter and Man Magnum Magazines. He has a strong entrepreneurial spirit with a reputation for identifying opportunities and establishing three successful businesses.
Theuns holds a B.Com Business Management degree from the North-West University (1997-1999) and completed his studies in PGDip BMA (Business Management Administration) at Stellenbosch Business School (2022).
Elijah Maina is a seasoned professional with over 17 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, specialising in distributor and key accounts management. He has a proven track record in building startups and leading commercial teams to achieve strategic goals. Elijah excels in developing joint business plans with both modern and traditional partners, trade marketing, key account management, and crafting EXCO and board strategy plans. His expertise spans people leadership, business intelligence, marketing, and designing cost-efficient distribution models, all while focusing on enhancing organisational success.
